Max is General Partner at Koyo Capital, a Swiss venture capital firm that invests in technology-driven and scalable business models. The focus is on founding teams that stand out through operational strength and strategic clarity. Koyo pursues a long-term, partnership-oriented approach and supports startups not only with capital but also with entrepreneurial know-how and access to a strong network within the European innovation ecosystem.
Max teaches Entrepreneurship at the HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich, where he shares practical insights on venture building, innovation, and startup financing with the next generation of founders. He also initiated the CAS Board Member program, designed to educate and prepare the next generation of board members for effective governance and strategic leadership.
Max is the host of the Burn Rate podcast, where he speaks with his co-host Guy Giuffredi and leading voices from the startup ecosystem about entrepreneurship, venture capital, and building scalable companies. The podcast explores real founder journeys, strategic decisions, and the challenges behind high-growth startups.
